The small mountain village Obereggen lies at a height of 1.561 m above sea level, below the impressive mountain scenery of the Latemar and has developed into a very popular winter ski resort in the last years.
The tourism history of this village started in the sixties when ski lifts were built. From then on it became more and more famous as a ski resort.

Today the Ski Center Latemar comprises 18 modern ski lifts and over 40 km of slopes that connect Obereggen with the ski resorts Pampeago and Predazzo.

Obereggen offers everything you could possibly want from a perfect skiing holiday in South Tyrol. It is ideal for skiing, cross country skiing or snowshoeing hikes and the toboggan/sledge runs Epircher-Laneralm and the luge toboggan run Pfösl guarantee fun for the whole family. You can eat, drink and rest in one of the sunny restaurants and after a good day’s ski you meet, drink, dance and have fun in the various Après Ski bars of the valley station.
