The train station of Laces is only accessible with assistance, due to the fact that the access path to the platform 2 has a subway with two very long and steep ramps.
Also the waiting room and the WC area with two toilets, adapted to the needs of disabled people, are only accessible with assistance because of a 6 cm high threshold.
Starting from Castelbello the train reaches the train station of Laces after around 3 km. The station offers a bike rental and has a SAD bus stop close by, from where the line 101 (Merano - Silandro - Malles) departs.
The village centre of Laces (639 m a.s.l.) is about 200 m away from the platform and can easily be reached.
Directly on the main road, the parish church Peter and Paul, the Holy Ghost spittle church and the castle of Laces are positioned. The modern cable car taking you to the mountain S. Martino in Monte (1.736 m a.s.l.) is also only 500 m away. The cable car is very accessible and the building has a toilet accessible for disabled people.
The sporting centre of Laces has an indoor ice rink.
The "Waalweg" path of Laces along an irrigation canal is a very nice walk for families.
