The train station of Plaus in Val Venosta valley is very accessible.

Unfortunately the new station building with waiting room and toilet is closed at present and the train only stops once an hour. The distance from the train station of Rablà to this train station is about 1,6 km by train. The platform is approx. 200 m away from the village centre and 300 m away from a SAD bus stop of the line 101 (Merano - Silandro - Malles). Guests of the holiday resorts Naturno, Plaus and Parcines can use the tourist bus which stops in Plaus for free (tourist pass available from your host).

Plaus (519m a.s.l.) offers a few sights: the Gothic parish church Sant’Ulrico and the beautiful village fountain. If you are interested in art you can find a work of art of the artist Luis Stefan of Lasa on the cemetery walls, a modern interpretation of death.

At the foot of the Mount Tramontana (Nörderberg) of Naturno there is an Alpine-Well-Fit-Path you can easily reach on the path 30A to the starting point of the Gröbenweg path. The fitness path is well signposted and the single stops are well explained.
