The SAD bus stop of the line 101 (Merano - Silandro - Malles) and the bike rental lie directly at the station.The station was built in this position as station for the approx. 3 km distant villages Prato allo Stelvio and Cengles, because Spondigna is only formed by a few houses. From Spondigna a beautiful walk takes you to the Prader Sand, a river delta of the Solda river, with wonderful meadows. Here you can fish in one of the fishing ponds.

In the centre of Prato allo Stelvio (915 m a.s.l.) we find the accessible National Park House Aquaprad, it houses an interesting exhibition on the theme of water.
The Romanesque church St. Johann at the southern east outskirts of Prato allo Stelvio is worth visiting. It is from the 13th century and has some nice frescos.
